Swahili Fashion Week

2019

SS20 collection titled "SERIF VS SANS SERIF' which is like comparing YOU VS ME. We in a patriarchal society where our brain  is primed to constantly encouraged to compare ourselves to others to evaluate our worth. You know these people who have more than you - money, accalim, looks, whatever? The spike of envy they trigger is natural, and social media is primed to amp it up. But in a world where followers and likes seems like rock-solid proof of a persons worth, you don’t have to take that bait.
